TASTING NOTES
Our blend of 70% Syrah, 20% Grenache, and 10% Mourvèdre, presents a captivating and balanced wine. The wine opens with elegant floral notes of violets and rose petals. The Grenache’s acidity and fruit profile offers ripe plum and cherries flavors to temper the intensity of the Syrah. The Mourvedre brings gentle tannins, creating a rich and luscious wine with a finish as smooth as velvet.
ABOUT CENTRAL COAST
This blend features grapes from the Paso Robles and the Edna Valley regions. This results in wines with concentrated flavors, rich textures, a vibrant acidity, and distinct regional character. The Edna Valley Grenache and Mourvèdre were cultivated in vineyards with a maritime influence, combined with ancient volcanic and marine sedimentary soils, giving these wines a distinctive and robust character.
FOOD PAIRING
Try slow-smoked ribs —the meat’s richness and the sauce’s depth harmonize with the blend’s dark fruit and tannins. A grilled pork sausage also pairs wondersfully, as the spice in the sausage echoes the peppery notes from Syrah and Grenache.
